CleanMyDev 0.1.7 for macOS
October 28, 2026 · Requires macOS 14 or later
What's new in CleanMyDev 0.1.7
- New Leaderboard tab in the sidebar: see developers ranked by the space they have reclaimed, all time, right inside the app.
- The leaderboard matches the app's light or dark appearance, keeps your place when you switch tabs, and has Reload and Open in Browser buttons.
- Pro checkout now runs through our new payment provider, Creem. Existing Pro plans keep working.
CleanMyDev 0.1.6 for macOS
October 27, 2026 · Requires macOS 14 or later
Your character now has one name everywhere, and the leaderboard is on from the start.
- One name: your character's name is also your leaderboard name and your public profile link. New users get a random look and a name like BriskOtter4821. If you already chose a leaderboard nickname, it becomes your character's name.
- The leaderboard is on by default once you sign in. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
- Public profile: Settings now shows your profile link with Copy, Share and Open buttons. You can also add your own link to show on your profile.
- Your character appears on the dashboard before your first scan and while a scan runs. A Set Up Your Character button stays there until you open the character once.
- Sidebar: the character row now has two lines. On Pro it joins the plan card and shows "Freed this month" and "Freed all time".
- Sharing to X and LinkedIn now includes your reclaim card. The app uploads the card and posts a cleanmydev.app link that shows it, and shows "Preparing post…" while it works.
- Caps and headphones now have a light outline, so they show up on dark backgrounds.
CleanMyDev 0.1.5 for macOS

Meet your character. It grows as you clean, and it lives on your storage tree.
- Design your character in Settings → Character: pick a robot, blob or cat, a color and a name.
- It grows with every gigabyte you reclaim, from Tiny to Giant, and never shrinks.
- It walks under the dashboard tree, jumps onto your stacks, hops between them and tells you what each one holds.
- After a clean it jumps and shows how much space you got back.
- Unlock accessories as you reclaim more: headphones at 10 GB, a scarf at 50 GB, shades at 100 GB, a cape at 250 GB and a crown at 500 GB.
- Your character also appears in the sidebar and on your share cards. Turn each one off in Settings → Character.
- New public leaderboard at cleanmydev.app/leaderboard. Join from Settings → Character with a nickname. It's off until you turn it on, and only your nickname, character and total are shared, never your name, email or files.
- Sharing to X and LinkedIn now posts a link with your card attached, with clear steps in the share window.
- Update checks and links now always use cleanmydev.app.
- Reduce Motion keeps the character still.
CleanMyDev 0.1.4 for macOS
October 26, 2026 · Requires macOS 14 or later
Share your clean: after a clean, a centered popup offers to share the result. The editor makes a card of your CleanMyDev window, where you can change the heading and background, then post to X or LinkedIn, copy the image or save it as a PNG.
Milestones: the editor opens on its own when your total reclaimed space passes 1, 10, 50, 100, 250 or 500 GB, or 1 TB.
Activity page: a “Share Total” button, and “Share This Clean…” in each row’s right-click menu.
Fix: opening a cleanmydev:// link, such as the sign-in link from the website, no longer quits the app when it’s already open.
